Our department supports traditional undergraduate students by utilizing university resources and researched best practices to guide the development of personalized academic plans and general success strategies that lead to completion of educational goals. We support our students in a way that encourages positive growth academically, socially, and spiritually.
At ÃÛ¶¹´«Ã½, every traditional undergraduate student is paired with an Academic Success Advisor from the Division of Student Success. After students select a major or enter their second year, they are assigned a faculty advisor in their chosen field of study. However, students never lose their Academic Success Advisor. Their Academic Success Advisor remains with them through graduation, providing holistic support and success strategies while serving as a secondary advisor and point of contact for questions related to their overall success. Academic Success Advising is an essential part of the student experience on our campus, and we aim to provide an opportunity to enhance academic decision-making through major exploration, academic planning, goal setting, and fulfillment of degree requirements for every ÃÛ¶¹´«Ã½ student.
We are available to meet with students and/or parents to discuss and work towards the resolution of any issue you may be dealing with that is making success difficult.
